Julian Clark / Cochran Fellow
Julian joined NSB as a Cochran Fellow in 2020. He comes to NSB from the Policing Project at NYU School of Law, where he was a Policing Fellow. At the Policing Project, Julian worked on a variety of critical issues in policing including, police use of force, police-community engagement, and policing and surveillance technology. He also assisted the Michigan Joint Task Force on Jail and Pretrial Incarceration to evaluate the varying enforcement policies and practices of Michigan’s policing agencies in order to develop responsive and effective statewide reforms. Julian graduated from NYU School of Law, where he participated in the Criminal Defense and Reentry Clinic and the Challenging Mass Incarceration Clinic.
