Camilo Duran / Paralegal

Cam joined NSB as a paralegal in 2021. He graduated as a Truman Scholar and Coca-Cola Scholar from the University of Pennsylvania, where he majored in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics and minored in Urban Studies. While at Penn, Cam pursued two academic honors programs – Civic Scholars and Public Policy Research Scholars. He also served as legal services coordinator for the Undergraduate Assembly, chaired FGLIQ (a student union for first-generation, low-income, and queer students), and sat on various student advisory boards for university administration, including boards for Penn First Plus, Student Financial Services, and Counseling and Psychological Services. Previously, Cam has worked at the Conviction Integrity and Special Investigations Unit at the Philadelphia District Attorney’s Office where he helped review post-conviction innocence claims and investigate police misconduct, as well as the City Council of Philadelphia. Pronouns: he/him/his
